Designed for fixed and mobile audio installations, Audac has released the SMQ series of four-channel power amplifiers. The WaveDynamics DSP processor is combined with an easy-to-configure 2.5-inch LCD display, with four versions of 350W, 500W, 750W and 1,250W output.

Acoustics can be optimized using Butterworth, Bessel, and Linkwitz-Riley filters, which have selectable roll-off configurations for low/high and bandpass configurations as well as seven-band equalizers with adjustable frequency and Q-factor. Other features include delay and dynamic bass enhancement. These settings can be custom configured using the front panel of the amplifier, which can be accessed at the user and administrator levels with a password or USB key protection.

The speaker protection is provided by the output power limiter, so the maximum output power of each channel can be configured. Speaker presets and complete system configurations can be selected from the library and uploaded using a USB flash drive. The rear panel includes an input selection matrix that combines XLR and terminal signal connections and outputs using speakers and terminal connections. The RS-232 control port enhances system integration, and the optional Dante interface (ANI44XT) can be used to transmit and receive low-latency audio via Ethernet.

CHA660 and CHA530 are two-way horn load speakers designed for long-stroke, full-frequency reproduction of music and voice in various indoor and outdoor applications. These modules include a 1-inch high-frequency compression driver and a 6.5-inch and 5-inch mid/low frequency driver, respectively. The speaker's RMS power handling capacity is 60W and 30W, and the maximum power handling capacity is 120W and 60W, respectively. For CHA660, the sensitivity measurement is 99dB, and the maximum continuous SPL can reach 116dB. Frequency response (±3dB) from 100Hz to 16kHz. For CHA530, the sensitivity is 98dB, the maximum continuous SPL is 113dB, and the frequency response is 110Hz – 16kHz.

In short, the AMP203 mini stereo Dante amplifier has been updated with an additional line output port connection.
